Spirit of Land and Sea 11×14 Matted Print

The “Spirit of Land and Sea” is part of my Spirit Animal Series and my Collective World Myth Series.  The island Sea Turtle concept is inspired by the many ancient myths in several cultures of a gigantic turtle.  For example in Hinduism, the story of a gigantic turtle at the base of the world.  This image is my collective myth’s form of the turtle into a symbolic island sanctuary for land, sea, and air animals. Depicted by the birds over top of the island, the deer on the island, and the fish below it.
